Paulo joins GBC with a wealth of unique ministry experiences through various expressions of the Church. Before entering ministry, Paulo worked for the Thames Valley School Board for eighteen years and experienced life outside of ministry.
Paulo is married to his best friend Kathy and together they have three children, Alexis, Gillian and Christian. Paulo loves to spend time racing and tinkering with cars (mostly classic Mustangs). He also enjoys playing guitar, painting, good movies… and can’t say no to a good cup of coffee.
He believes in continued education and life-long learning. Over the years, he pursued higher education and has earned a Personal Spiritual Growth and Leadership Development Diploma – BLEC, a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies – Briercrest Seminary and a Master of Divinity (Counselling and Spiritual Care) – McMaster University.
His focus in ministry stems from a deep ability to care for and relate to others. He loves spending time with people celebrating happy times or simply walking alongside in difficult circumstances. He is passionate about contextualizing the good news of God’s love by challenging, encouraging and coaching people into finding themselves in God’s story. He feels called to live a life that inspires others to a transformative encounter with Jesus in a community who embodies God’s truth and enacts grace.
